Crawley Irish Festival 27 August 2006, near London Gatwick: Live music over two stages

Live music forms an important role at the Crawley Irish Festival. It is the goal of the Celtic and Irish Cultural Society to encourage greater penetration of different musical forms and to present modern and traditional Irish music to as wide an audience as possible. Spread across two stages and more... we hope that there is something for everyone!

Mise - 2002 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award finalists
Blackthorn Band - Melodic Celtic tunes
Siansa - Traditional Irish music and song
John McNicholl - Irish country with a modern feel from the young performer from County Derry
Fair Trade - A popular group of local musicians who come together just for the Festival with a unique mix of traditional music
Wraggle Taggle - All the music you need to enjoy Ceili Set Dancing

The Railway Club, Three Bridges [map] - from 8:30pm - Tickets: £7

The evening dance features a a number of Irish Country acts including Caitlin and John Hogan. Tickets are available to purchase at the Information Tent and at the venue.
