The 9th Crawley Irish Festival and first Crawley Fleadh Week have been hailed as a success.

This year saw the annual Irish Festival extended with the addition of the ‘Fleadh’. Theatre, music, dance, historical discussions, sport and poetry each had their part to play as the Celtic and Irish Cultural Society seeked to extend the cultural significance of the August festivities.

Around ten thousand people attended the events (21-29 August) that support local charities: St. Catherine’s Hospice and Crawley schools. Sponsors Accurate Construction, Coinford Construction and L F Nugent Group made it all possible with their important financial investment.
