Since those early days with the Johnstons and supergroup, Planxty, the band that also launched the careers of Liam O‘Flynn, Donal Lunny and Christy Moore, Paul Brady has forged a reputation as one of Ireland’s finest singer-songwriters and musicians, releasing many critically acclaimed albums and penning songs that have been recorded by such artists as Tina Turner, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker and Carlos Santana.
