Promoting Understanding of a Diverse Population in Britain

A core role of the CICS is to promote an understanding or the involvement of the Irish in Britain and ensuring that statutory bodies (such as primary health providers and local government) are reminded of the size of Irish people when applying funding decisions.

The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society predominatly organise events for the Irish community in and around Crawley, West Sussex. The Irish in the UK are one of the largest community groups and the Crawley Irish are no exception.

We invite everyone to come to those events and also to help organise or lend their support. You can get involved by helping as a volunteer or by taking a more active planning role. To find out more, contact us.
