Celtic and Irish Cultural Event Photos

The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society organise a number of annual events and we regularly take photos to post on our web pages. The events listed below provide access to photographs held at Photobox  - the trusted online digital photo printers.

The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society have used Photobox because it offers excellent service from a trusted name where we can load an unlimited number of photos for you to view and order - we also receive 60p for your free signup (no obligation) and more should you wish to purchase photos. CRAWLEY ST. PATRICK's PARADE, 18/03/07
The 60th Anniversay of Crawley was celebrated by the fourth annual Crawley Saint Patrick's Parade. The Gatwick Caledonian Pipe Band led the parade which was sponsored by locally based companies Plumbase and ITW Construction Products. Local Irish dance schools also performed in the High Street alongside music by Blackthorne Band.

RTÉ RADIO RECORDING CRAWLEY, 30/12/06
RTÉ came to Crawley to record "The Irish Experience" radio show, presented by Paschal Mooney. Music was provided by Brogue, Blackthorne, the Celtic Colleens with additional dancing from the O'Brien School of Irish Dancing.

Photos from the opening night of the 2006 Crawley Fleadh. The week was launched by deputy mayor Chris Redmayne and Amanada Bane of the Irish Embassy. Music was provided by Sateen and Fairtrade with the Andromeda School of Irish Dance.

Photos and images from Saint Patrick's Day at the Emerald Club. In the early afternoon, ITV Meridian News broadcast from the venue with a display by the Mullins School of Irish Dancing and music provided by local musicians. The photos are from early evening.

Photos and images from the 2006 Crawley Celtic Weave concert sponsored by Coinford Construction and organised by the Celtic and Irish Cultural Society. New Ross and District Pipe Band with Dunbrody Folk Group presented this unique concert for the people of Crawley.

A limited selection of photos and images from the Crawley Irish Dinner Dance 2005. Lenny Nugent was awarded the Crawley Irishperson of the Year award for his long-term support of the Crawley Irish Festival. Meanwhile, charity money was also awarded to our local charity benefactors.

EMERALD CLUB SESSION 2004, 13/03/05
The Emerald Club welcomed the New Ross and District Pipe Band to Crawley and hosted a session of pipe, drum and acoustic music. The band was sponsored by the Bank of Ireland during their stay in Crawley.

CELTIC & IRISH CULTURAL SOCIETY LAUNCH, 15/01/04
The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society launched in January 2004 at the Holiday Inn, now Clarion Hotel. The CICS was launched with the hope of establishing new Celtic and Irish themed events. Local councillors and business leaders were amongst those invited to the launch of the new group.

CRAWLEY IRISH FESTIVAL 2003, 30/08/03
Photos and images from the 8th annual Crawley Irish Festival. The annual event was organised priot to the lanuch of the Celtic and Irish Cultural Society. A procession began the festival and became the catalyst for the Saint Patrick's Parade. The festival was sponsored a the Tara Group of Companies.
