The Celtic and Irish Cultural Society is expanding its established and successful Crawley Irish Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend. An additional open-air concert, titled; ‘Celtic Rock in the Park’ will target a youth audience and provide a mix of contemporary Irish music the night before the 11th Crawley Irish Festival.

The event takes place Saturday 26th August at Southgate Playing Fields, Southgate Avenue Crawley and forms part of the Celtic Weekend.

The Celtic Rockin the Park evening concert will target a youth and family audience showcasing modern and contemporary music  all in the open-air. The Celtic Rock in the Park will feature a selection of acts at a brand new, professionally lit stage. The event offers the opportunity for the event organisers to entertain a new audience with familiar modern tunes from throughout the UK  all with a Celtic edge.
